Question: does the vote board you show report a vote on a combination of the amendments you list, or on just one of them, or some of them? I'm quite curious about which of those floor amendment votes were being reflected in that image. Thanks.
Ha! I'm glad you asked! So that is a motion to amend the Committee of the Whole report to reflect that a bunch of Kolodin amendments that didn't get adopted did get adopted. Like after the amendments fail via voice vote, then you can request a roll-call vote on them to put everyone on the record. But I don't remember them lumping multiple amendments together like that in the past. (but maybe i just forgot). I wanna write a whole email about all the obscure ways to use the House and Senate rules to your advantage but it would be boring as hell to anyone but me and you, morgan!
But to zoom down to the one I am most interested in, was the one about cutting Medicaid part of the bunch that the vote board image reflected? I'm rather interested in sick people being able to get medical care ...
None of the medicaid cuts were adopted, but i think there were actually a few -- if my very bad memory serves from last night, both kolodin and olson had at least one amendment dealing with Medicaid but i think you're thinking of the olson one
If you are Tom Crosby...you throw more money at D. Wilenchik in the never ending story of Cochise County shenanigans. Nobody can figure out why this pestilence won't go away. At least Miss Piggy had the grace to accept a plea deal.

These are big data centers with what appear to be 24/7 caretaker staffs. As another newsletter pointed out, the average salary is not enough to afford a house in Tucson.

Give it a try.

Meanwhile the rest of us have been waiting for one of your handy guides on this very topic...
I find it hard to believe that public policy can be washed away with an NDA. Do elected officials get legal council and from who?
