You guys are the best. Thanks for fighting the good fight. It's important and $8 per month should be seen as a civic duty by those who profess to care about local government.

We know — because you guys keep telling us — that a lot of you read us during your morning trip to the bathroom. If you’re not paying now, maybe you’ll pay to keep that routine. Morning routines are very important.

I think that this is due to the people of whom you write. Somehow, being near a toilet seems most appropriate when reading how these people work. See? Wendy CAN provide a benefit to society.

Have you considered taking on minimal advertising? Many newsletter startups have to do this.

We’ve talked about it — we’re going to try classified ads probably because there’s a third-party service that we can have manage that. That’s the issue we run into: since it’s just us two, we don’t want to sell ads while doing journalism because it’s an ethical issue.

Where else am I going to get the good, the bad and the ugly info about our political candidates? Certainly not from their campaign websites! If I have to pay more so be it.
