That was a great piece. Thanks for the very hard work. Normally during election season I decide what politician I will support with a few dollars. Az got rolled by Ken Kendrick with threats of the Diamondbacks leaving. (I miss Jerry) This year it is helping to fund food banks, Head Start, local,schools, worrying about government workers who lost their jobs, TSA agents, air traffic controllers. We pay our taxes for these departments and now I’m supposed to help in those areas too. It is not lost on me that the White House looks like Marie Antoinette’s bedroom. The MVP of the week is Mark Kelly, he’ll rake in more money than anyone this holiday. Trump/Hegseth let their egos go wild. Silly boys.
Nicole: Your observation that "I remember thinking: “This is how this place works.” The Capitol runs on relationships and a thousand unwritten rules that make perfect sense once you’ve been around them, and almost no sense if you haven’t." is a clear sign to me that you have the key observation abilities and instincts of a top-notch journalist.
