About the CD1 money: the national Democratic party and various other entities have pledged to support the primary's winner with a s---load of money (to use a technical term). So while one can argue about the relative importance of money vs grassroots efforts for the primary (as I have in the past), regardless, whoever wins this primary will have a lot of money to throw at their efforts to unseat Rep. Schweikert.
I cut CD3 just because the whole thing was long but...
Yassamin Ansari has raised about $1.7 million for the chance to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego in this West Valley district, making her the overall frontrunner.
Former lawmaker Raquel Teran, however, has more cash on hand in this final stretch of the campaign. She has raised about $1.1 million overall, but she still has almost $500,000 on hand. That’s nearly double what Ansari has left to wage her campaign in this solidly Democratic district.
Thank you! In our two-person household, we get a mailer for or against one of them just about every day (though not all funded by the candidates themselves).
Exactly why we're in this political situation,$$$$. Us poors from the Green Party can't get anywhere close to this kind of coverage. Well, you get what you pay for.

How is fundraising stacking up after this quarter for the primary to replace Gallego?
